I've been trying to set up jaas authentication modules on the following :
    a) ATG b) WLS and c)JRun.
WLS has built in JAAS support but the other two do not.
Building JAAS auth decreases my work and standardizes authentication across the enterprise.
If any body has done this kind of work , i would be greatful for advice..

My domain name is assigned for a specific IP address(normal). Because in the same WebLogic server, in the same Unix box, under the same internal IP address are running 2 applications, if the http address is like a domain name(correct one) I redirect to my application. I have an security certificate properly installed, but I get the following message: "The name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site."

Is this because, at redirection to my application, I am adding something into address? How do I get rid of this?

We have installed a self-signed certificate for apache mod_ssl and JSSE examples complain about the security chain AND the names not being the same, and give an exception. How can we get around this? A code example or a link to documentation on how to do it would be greatly appreciated.

Need secure date based lisence protection that will allow me to kill execution of a servlet after x days without a new key. I need help building a lisence protection scheme into a servlet that will stop execution after any certain number of days. I figure the best way to do this would be to place a date inside of an encrypted file and check against that date in the doXXX methods of the servlet. I have 2 questions: 1) Whats the best method of encrypting the "key" file with the valid date 2) Is there a built in date change listener in java? This would be usefull in case someone chooses to roll back their system clock to avoid shutdown. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Marc Boorshtein
