In case you're also asking what a Pro-Hop is, it's a hop (both feet in the air), instead of an extra step.
I play basketball but I haven't mastered the pro hop or anything. As far as I can tell, while you are gathering the ball in both hands, you can lift both feel off the ground for small, horizontal hop. So when you are moving and are grabbing the ball off the dribble in your right hand, you can take a hop to sneak in the lane or cut off the defender while you bring the ball from your right hand to your left hand, and grasp it in both hands.
Again, I'm not completely certain this is how I or anyone else does it, so clarification from a more authoritative source would be appreciated.
